妻とちょっとしたアニバーサリーで伺った。
あまり見ない料理を食べるのをアニバーサリーのテーマの一つにしているが、今回はペルー料理にした。
今回は比較的リーズナブルな7,000円のコース。大皿にはなるが、主要なペルー料理が飲み放題も付きで頂ける。
まずはペルーでは有名なスナックだというトウモロコシの素揚げ。これはポップコーンになる寸前のような食べ物で、野菜的でもあるしスナック的でもある。程よい塩加減で中々美味しい。
同時に豚バラのグリルも来る。これは脂身の美味しさを残したまま程よい焼き加減で提供され、乾杯のビールには非常によく合った。
次は私が最も楽しみにしていたセビーチェ。生魚のマリネである。魚の発酵系の旨味と酸味、程よい辛味もあり、マリネはよく見るが他にはない味わいだ。これは白ワインとは絶妙によく合った。
その後はキヌアのサラダのような料理が来た。こちらも酸味系で系統はセビーチェに似ている。引き続き白ワインで、酸味とキヌアの食感を楽しんだ。
その後はフライドポテトが来る。これは普通の料理ではあるがカリカリ系でお酒を飲んでいるので欲しくなる味だ。
その後は牛肉のパスタ。牛肉は柔らかく、ペルーの唐辛子ソースの辛味が加わったソースは美味しく。パスタ、そして季節の野菜の食感を楽しむことができた。これはこの次の肉料理と合わせて赤ワインにしたが、非常に良く合った。ちなみにここの飲み放題は人生で一番かもしれないレベルにすぐに提供してくれて、申し訳なく思うぐらいサービスが良かった。
最後に牛、豚、鶏のグリル。
三種類ともに、脂落としめでしっかりとグリルされており、赤身、白身の旨味と炭の香りを楽しめる逸品であった。グリル感と付け合わせのサルサソースのバランスが南米を感じ、そういう意味でも満足度が高かった。
立地、内装、料理、サービスレベルを考えれば7,000円は破格だと思う。様々な場面で使えそうなので、覚えておきたい名店である。
