12 minutes walk from Shirokanedai Station! I visited Shirokane Toritomo. It is a popular yakitori restaurant that opened in 2016. The owner is Tomoyuki Kashiwabuchi, the third generation owner of a liquor store that has been in business since his grandfather's generation. After many twists and turns, he decided to open a yakitori restaurant about 15 years ago. He trained at the popular restaurant "Torimasa" in Omotesando. After that, he opened Shirokane Toritomo in his hometown of Shirokane. It is located at the corner at the bottom of Platinum Street, the main street of Shirokanedai! The nearest station is Shirokanedai Station, but Hiroo and Ebisu are also within walking distance. The restaurant has a total of 23 seats, including counter seats, table seats, and private rooms. It seems to be suitable for various purposes. This time, I had the "Yakitori Full Course" for dinner for ¥4,200. The portion sizes are particularly noteworthy! The voluminous yakitori, inherited from Torimasa, where he trained, is the opposite approach to the current mainstream in a good way. The word "iki" is perfect for filling your stomach with juicy chicken that fills your mouth! I particularly liked the "negimaki" (green onion roll) and the "chicken dish" that appeared at the end. For those who can't eat a lot, there is a half course, so it's nice to decide based on how full your stomach is.
