3 minutes from Shirokane Takanawa Station. A hideaway where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine made with seasonal ingredients and Japanese sake. Chef's choice course from 5,000 yen
In addition to convenient table seating, the restaurant also has counter seats that are perfect for single diners. |
A Japanese Cuisine restaurant on the second floor of an apartment building in Shirokane Takanawa. Visited for dinner on a holiday. A hideaway behind the main street. Two staff members, the proprietress and the waiter. The proprietress is from Kagoshima. Gentle jazz plays in the background. You can hear seagulls crying in the toilet. The chopsticks are very thin, which is my favorite type. [8,000 yen course] (8,000 yen) ■ Chawanmushi with fragrant mushrooms Plenty of cheese. ■ Fried real shishamo (Hokkaido) With roe. Juicy at the first bite. Bonito sake kasu, ginkgo nuts. Uses fluffy salt. ■ Assorted dishes White miso. Shrimp potato, pollock roe, bamboo shoots, spinach, yuzu pieces. ■ Sashimi ・ Tiger puffer fish sashimi and teppei. ・ Small fish ・ White squid ・ Sea urchin Eat with soy sauce and ponzu. ■ Grilled Pacific saury and matsutake mushroom liver Teriyaki with matsutake mushroom wrapped in Pacific saury. The bones of the Pacific saury are grilled until crispy like bone crackers. Served with chrysanthemum, maitake mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, and boiled peanuts. ■ Seared Japanese black beef (Kagoshima) Beef just arrived today. Lean meat with just the right amount of fat. Slowly grilled to a super rare finish. Japanese mustard. ■ Yellowtail hotpot The fat is excellent. Super soft and fluffy. Celery, green onion, yuzu. Ponzu, sudachi, condiments. Yuzu flavor. [Drinks] A wide selection of Japanese wines. Japanese sake is also available on a daily basis. ■ Fuji Taikan New sake first pressing raw dry Yamada Nishiki (Ibaraki) Served by the glass. Sweet and savory, with a good rice flavor. Very delicious. ■ Chiyozuru Special Junmai (Toyama) Dry. The sake "Keita" released at the end of 2023 does not meet the standards, but is pasteurized and aged. It has a mature color. ■ Moriga Shinga 2020 (Nayoro, Hokkaido) A red made with the mountain grape "Kokoushi", which was recently certified as a wine variety. Emphasis on acidity. A collaboration of delicate Japanese Japanese-style meal with wine and sake.
