この日は五反田で平日ランチ。
1972年創業、つまりは50周年を超えるというこちらに伺いました。
お店は駅近くの目黒川沿いにあり、開店の昼11時半過ぎに入店です。
この日は私が口開け客であり、後客 1組1名でした。
2Fの店内は黒基調の内装でもあり、ちょっと暗め。
古めかしい丸テーブルが並んでおり、その丸テーブルの一角に居を得ました。
さて、メニューを拝見。
今週のランチは、
A. 四川麻婆豆腐 900円
B. チンゲン菜と豚肉の炒め 980円
C. 海老のチリソース煮 + 点心 1,080円
D. (A,B,Cより二品) + 点心 1,200円
となっており、それ以外に麺やチャーハンも頼めるようです。
「麻婆豆腐」も「海老のチリソース煮」も気になったので、D.の二品セットで両方をお願いしました。
冷たいお茶を飲みながら待つことしばし、順番におかずが登場。
「ライス」「麻婆豆腐」「海老チリ」「サラダ」「中華スープ」「シュウマイ」「マカロニ」「漬物」と品数がスゴイです。
「点心」というのが「シュウマイ」だったのですが、食べ応えがある大きさでした。
早速、スープを一口、ライスを一口の後にサラダやマカロニを平らげていきます。
メインの「麻婆豆腐」は程よい辛さと山椒の香りで旨いです。
なるほど、レビュア諸兄が推す理由も分かりました。
「海老チリ」もらしい逸品であり、ザクザクのポテチのようなものも添えられていました。
このポテチも含めて、「海老チリ」気分を満喫できました。
「シュウマイ」は醤油と酢で食べ進めたのですが、エビも入っており、ボリューム満点でした。
ちなみにお隣さんは「麻婆豆腐」だったのですが、皿のサイズ感が大きいので、メインが2つになるわけではありません。
この「麻婆豆腐」なら単品でたっぷり頼むのもアリと感じました。
それぞれの料理は悪くないと思うのですが、なんだかお店に勢いが感じられません。
古いお店は好きなのですが、こちらの内装はモノも多く雑多に思いましたので、ちょっと整理しても良いかも。
