スワスティカ
商号は、創業時に使用していたカレー粉のブランド名「スワスティカ」の通称名に由来しています。 |
五反田に仕事で用事があったので、帰りに久しぶりにスワチカへ。
以前に10年近く、五反田近辺に会社も自宅もあった時期に時折行っていた。
以前から今も変わらず、看板メニューはメンチカツ定食（1300円）。
肉汁溢れるメンチカツは何度食べても安定と信頼の美味しさ。
しっかり具が入った豚汁が、店全体や店主さんの、地道に堅実に美味しい食事を提供し続ける在り方を象徴しているようで、以前からとても好き。寒い季節に食べると特に美味しく思えるのだけれど、勿論、暖かい時でもなんでも年中旨い。
なお、店名を冠したスワチカランチ（980円）はメンチ、ご飯をやや少なめにワンプレートに収めたいわばメンチカツ定食の廉価版で、あまりボリュームを求めない人はそちらもお勧め。
卓上にはメンチカツ等にかけるソースの他、七味唐辛子、ごま塩等。
個人的にここのメンチカツ定食を食べる際、ご飯にごま塩を振るとなんだか良く合う気がして、そうしている。
2021年から食べログの定食百名店に選ばれている。
