I went here for dinner with a colleague from my previous company. There are many old and famous restaurants in Gotanda, and Alco Iris, which serves Peruvian Cuisine, is one of them. The restaurant is on the second floor and is not very noticeable. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. with only one group of two customers ahead of us, and there were cutlery lined up at other tables, so we thought they might have made a reservation, but around 7:00 p.m., three groups of 14 people came in and the restaurant was almost full. We ordered the following: ・Chorros ・Chicharron de chancho ・Cau cau ・Taktaku We drank the following: ・Cusqueña ・Pisco rock ◆ Cusqueña Peruvian beer. Easier to drink than Japanese beer. But not too light. ■ Choros It says it has chopped mussels, onions, and tomatoes, but there's more than you can handle. It's quite sour. The sourness of citric acid. There are mussels right under the spoon. ■ Chicharron de chancho Potatoes, pork, beans, and salad. This is eaten with ahi sauce. Ahi sauce is a seasoning of chili peppers, garlic and paprika, and is a versatile sauce that goes well with potatoes, pork and anything. ◆ Pisco Rock Pisco is a Peruvian distilled liquor. It is a distilled liquor made from grapes, so it is not sweet, but you can feel the sweetness of the grapes in the flavor. ■ Cau Cau A dish I often ate 12 years ago. Chicken and potatoes stewed with turmeric. A dish similar to the Japanese nikujaga (meat and potato dish). The creamy turmeric sauce is delicious. Ahi sauce is also used here. ■ Takutaku It looked like an omelette, so I ordered it, and it was a dish made by mixing beans and rice and baking it. It was a very dense dish, and if you eat it as it is, the flavor is a little weak, so it was delicious with ahi sauce, pork, and caucau rice. I actually intended to drink more, but I can't eat anymore. Lately, I often have a stomach of 10. It's been more than 12 years since my last visit, but the price hasn't changed much. The words of the uncle staff member and the customer service have not changed.
