五反田駅から徒歩1分、
ネパール・インド料理のお店、
【maya五反田店】でランチを頂きました。
ネパール人のシェフが作るお食事はどれも本格的でありながら、
日本人にも食べやすいように調理しているといいます。
お店は駅近ですが、入口がぱっと見分かりにくく、まるで隠れ家のよう。
ドキドキしながら地下1階へと向かうと、そこには想像以上に広々とした空間が広がっていました。
お好きなお席へどうぞ、と笑顔でお声がけいただき、
テーブル席へ。
11：00～15：00まではランチメニューがオーダーできるとのこと、
メニューに目を落とすと6つのセットメニューが並んでいます。
大きなナンとカレーがセットになったメニューが特に魅力的だなーと思いつつも、
目に留まったのは、「エベレストフライドライスセット」（￥990）。
聞いたことのないメニューだったので、気になってすかさずオーダー。
こちらのセットには、1種類選べるカレー、サラダ、ソフトドリンクもついてきます。
5分ほどして、お食事が運ばれてきました。
あれ、私大盛りって伝えたっけ！？っと思ってしまうほど大きなフライドライス。
玉ねぎにネギ、ピーマン、パプリカなど、刻んだお野菜、そして卵が沢山入っています。
味わいは炒飯に近いかな。塩味も効いていて絶妙。
カレーはバターチキンカレーを選んでみたのですが、
フライドライスにかけても美味しく頂くことができました。
フライドライスが塩味強め、バターチキンカレーが甘めとやや味わいが異なるのですが、
意外にも相性抜群。
ちなみにプラス150円でナンも付けられるとのこと！
お腹いっぱいで今回は断念しましたが、次回はナンも頂いてみたいな～。
ちなみにカレーは種類豊富で、
エッグカレー（ゆで卵のカレー）やダルカレー（豆のカレー）、
マトンカレー（羊肉のカレー）などもありました。
ディナ―タイムにはもっと種類豊富に楽しめるようです。
インド料理を堪能できるコースメニューもあるそうなので、
次回はディナーで利用してみたいです。
