過去に自転車で五反田付近をランダムに走行中、こんな所にイタリアンが、と発見したお店。
五反田のガード下飲食街「桜小路」や、台湾朝食店「東京豆醬生活」の付近にある。天気も良くなく、遠出出来ないため相方と訪問してみた。
グレーの色調がシックな店内。よく見ると2階席もあるようだ。パスタ袋には、Faellaの文字が見える。男性2人に女性1人が対応。シェフは顎マスク状態だ。
日替わりというランチメニューから、「スパゲッティ 鶏の聖護院大根の柚子胡椒風味」と「パニーノ 豚サルシッチャとじゃがいものピューレ」（各1,000円）を注文。
サラダはオイルビネガードレッシング。赤キャベツ等の入ったグリーンサラダ。スパゲッティに付くパンは中が少し暖かく甘みある。
サラダは先に出てくるものの、合計20分位待った。調理に当たっているのは1人だけで、前に待っていた4名分と同時に調理していたため、少し時間がかかった模様。
パニーノ(パニーニの単数形(1つ))は、ホットサンドメーカーで調理されたものを想像していたが、表面が焦げ茶色のパンが肉厚で面白い。焼き目のついた部分はカリカリで、ざくっと食べられる食感のパン。これにハンバーガー気分で食べられる肉厚のパテ。豚ソーセージ(サルシッチャ)の食感が食べ応えを出す。伸びるチーズがとろけていて、ここにしゃがいものピューレが絡んでいたらしい。
なかなか味わえない本格派。シンプルな構成なので、パンチというかもっと味が濃くても美味しいと思う。
セットのスープはミネストローネ。豆類、雑穀、野菜がたくさん入って具沢山。具沢山過ぎてちょっとスープが足りなかった。
スパゲッティの方は、終始、柚子胡椒の風味が少し強めに感じられる。鶏肉に大根、ペッパーの、味はしっかりついているがあっさり目の構成。麺は美味しいがこちらもシンプルな内容。
会計は現金払いのみの様子だった。小雨が降ってきたが、店員さんが外まで見送ってくれた。
