店名は「みかん」。五反田のモンスターグリルの向かいにある雑然とした通りの中に看板を見つけ、それ以来ブックマークをしていた店。平日12時ちょっと過ぎに来店。
黒Tシャツに黒キャップの若い男性3人。居酒屋のような大声での挨拶が特徴的だ。マスクをしっかりしているが。
当方の席を準備すると行って、水とサラダを持ってカウンターに置いたのが分かったので、サラダをずいぶん先に出すのだなぁと思ってその席に座ると、そちらは他のお客様が座っているところですのでこちらへお願いしますと言われ慌ててしまった。トイレに立った他の客のサラダを置いていたのだった。
12条20分ぐらい過ぎると、次々と客がやってくるが、提供に時間がかかると言うことで何人かのお客さんに断っていた。カウンターは隣は空いているが、減席しているものと思われる。
ランチのメニュー表から「黒豚の生姜焼定食」(850円)を注文。
サラダはドレッシングがかかっており、ピンク色の薬味のようなものが入っているがこれはコンビーフのような味がした。
出てきた生姜焼きは、豚肉に玉ねぎ、ネギといったシンプルな構成に、ワカメの味噌汁と小鉢の明太子。生姜焼きは白米の盛り付け方がしゃもじ形が残っていて少々雑である。
ただこの生姜焼き、豚肉は柔らかく、脂身をしつこく感じず、甘辛いタレと相まってかなり美味。
味噌汁は、塩分の感じがちょうど良く、ワカメの柔らかさが少しほっとする。白米は少し柔らかめなるも、ふっくらと炊けている部類だと思う。
野菜巻き串以外のものを頼んでもなかなか美味しいランチであることが確認できた。
