I read in a review that smoking was allowed (April 2005), but when I went there last summer, the owner didn't like cigarettes and the entire store was smoke-free. I know this for sure because the smoker who went with me went outside to smoke. |

中目黒駅から徒歩４分、区役所脇の路地に構えるスペイン料理店。
カウンター主体の客席構成で、１人でタパス＆ワインなども気軽に。
素材味の活きた家庭的な料理が嬉しい。早めの時間は予約なしでも。

ある日の夕方、目黒区役所へ出かけたんですが。
私の勘違いでこの役所には用がなかったことが判明します。
(*￣ー￣) アホですねぇ
腹いせにって訳でもないけど役所から駅周辺の商店街を練り歩き、
路地裏で見つけたこちらのスペイン屋へと入ります。
開店間もない時間で一番乗りでしたが、帰るころは混んできて
タイミングが良かったんだなぁと感心してみたり。
さて。
店内はカウンター席が主体で入口寄りにテーブルも１卓。
オリーブオイルやスパイスがほのかに薫る料理屋っぽい雰囲気。
店主さんは一見すると職人風ないかつさがありましたが、
挨拶も応対も丁寧な感じで安心できますね。
まずはシュワシュワを求めてシードラなんぞをお願いします。
・スペイン産チーズ盛り合わせ 950円
やや厚切りのセミハードなものを主体に数種類に、メンブリージョ。
ちょいとクセが強めな山羊のチーズに花梨の風味が絶妙ですね。
お酒も強めなシェリーへ推移。スペインらしさが増幅します。
・ピスト マンチェゴ 950円
野菜のトマト煮込みで温製です。別メニューで冷製もありました。
たまねぎ、茄子、パプリカといったところが主体ですね。
フレッシュトマトを使い、たまごも合わせたマイルドな味わい。
・地鶏のプランチャ 1,000円
ブツ切りの地鶏、じゃがいも＆グリーンピースと合わせた鉄板焼き。
にんにくがガツンと効いていて、ワインよりはビール向きですかね。
鶏肉は弾力もよく、素材の旨みも感じられる状態の良いモノ。
ちょいちょいお酒も進んでお会計は5,000円強。
味付けも素材に合わせて優しいものからパワフルなものまで幅広く、
奇をてらったところもなく、お酒を合わせるのが楽しいですね。
