こちらは料理雑誌にもよく取り上げられていた頃に、「行きたいな」と思いつつ機会に恵まれず、伺えなかったお店です。
先日、近くまでの用事があったので予約を入れてみると即ＯＫだったので喜んで訪問しました。
その日はたまたまでしょうか？
他にお客はいなくて貸し切り状態で、少し緊張しました。
席につき、期待しつつメニューを見せて頂いたのですが、何故かあまりピンとこない。
そそられないというか…
季節感があまり感じられないように思いました。
アラカルトで注文する事にしました。
前菜を何品か。
パスタとメインを１品づつ。
すごく楽しみにしていたのですが、もしかしてそれがいけなかったのかもしれません。
本当に申し訳ないのですが、何を頂いても「美味しい」と思える料理に出会えませんでした…。
他の方のレビューにもあるように、確かに化学調味料などは使ってらっしゃらないからパンチが弱いのだと言えるかもしれません。
でも…それだけではないと思いました。
どの料理も平淡で、素材の旨味すら感じられなくて、その料理で何を伝えたいのかが見えてきませんでした。
たまたまかもしれないし、ここに書く事で、そのメニューのイメージを傷付けてご迷惑になっては申し訳ないので、メニュー名は敢えて控えさせて頂きます。
評判を集めた名店ですから「そんなはずは…」と思い続けたままに食事が終わってしまったのです。
他にお客さんがいないのもそのせい？と、穿った見方をしてしまいそうです。
かつての評判は過去の栄光なのでしょうか？
ホールの方もオーナーシェフと思われる方も、とても感じの良い素敵なお店でしたのに尚更に残念でした。
「美味しかったです」とは言えなくて、「お腹いっぱいになりました」としか言えなかったのが淋しい。
期待しすぎて、勝手にハードルを上げすぎたのでしょうか…？
