1978年のオープン。創業者の故・和田氏は、アメリカの友人にごちそうになったホームメイドのチーズケーキに感動し、一部上場会社（住友ベークライト）を定年した後に、この店を開きました。
その後も定年退職した平均年齢70歳以上のスタッフ達（住友OB）がメンバーに加わりながら、続けています。
「お爺ちゃん達のチーズケーキ」として有名ですが、プラスチックの加工するメーカー出身なので、正確な原料・素材を扱うことがお菓子との共通点と感じているそうです。
チーズケーキは、
オーストラリア産のフィラデルフィアチーズを用いたチーズケーキは、一晩ねかせることでなめらかな食感。
そして65%のチーズ含有率。香料や着色料、保存料や水などは一切使わずに焼き上げています。

角型のタイプは百貨店で外販もしている事もあるので、最も有名な看板商品。
表面のチーズは黄色っぽい。
濃厚なレアチーズ。甘さ控えめでチーズの塩気で、チーズ好きには存分に楽しめる味。
・サワーソフト
表面のチーズは白っぽい。
オレンジ、レモンの酸味が効いていて、フルーティー。
もっともレアチーズケーキな印象
・メロー
ナチュラルとサワーソフトの間ぐらいのチーズ間。
・ブルーベリー
サワーソフトにブルーベリーゼリーが乗っかったタイプ。
やっぱりチーズが美味しいですね！
