ボスから今度の海外出張時の相手先の土産物調達を仰せつかる。
色々思案の末に、中目黒の福砂屋さんで限定品のサクラ柄のカステラを取り扱っているとのことで現地偵察へ。なるほど確かに黄色地にピンクのサクラが咲く綺麗な箱で、カステラもよくできたスポンジケーキみたいで外国人にはウケるだろう。ただ結構足が速いので、余り早めに買ってしまうと相手先が腐らせてしまうかもしれない。
予約して特定の日にその日出来立てのカステラを取りに来ることはできるかと聞くとできるようなので、その場で予約をお願いし、代金も払ってしまう。店員さんによると販売期限4.10まで、なくなり次第終了なので手に入れられて良かったですねとのこと。柔軟な取り扱いをして下さるお店に感謝。
