I've been going to Shomaru since it first opened. When the first-generation owner opened it, I was so happy that finally a delicious Ramen shop had opened in Yutenji that I kept going there. Even when the original owner became ill and handed the shop over to the second-generation owner, the taste remained the same and delicious, so I continued going there. I really liked the Gutsun noodles developed by the second-generation owner, but then he retired... and it was taken over by the third-generation owner. I've been there a few times since then, but it's not as tasty as before. The soup has no body, and the braised pork in the Gutsun noodles is small...
