店前の看板で出ていたパイナップルのフローズンスムージーに惹かれて入店。
割とどこにでもあるお店です、こちらは"オーバカナル 東山"。店内はおパリのカフェチックな雰囲気で、店舗展開してる感があまりないほど凝っています。
イートインも可能で、それ専用のメニューがあるとかないとか。
パンもバゲットやクロワッサンをはじめとし、キッシュやデニッシュ、サンドイッチなんかもあります。
サンドイッチを買おうとしたのですが、1本売りのバゲットを見てクープの入りが甘いのと、目が詰まっていてビジュアルから察する味がイマイチだったので、チャパタサンドを。
パイナップルスムージーはみんなが想像するその味で間違いないです。特に特徴的なものはありません。
ミントを入れて香りを出すとかひと手間加えると化けそう。
チャパタは朝ごはんに。悪くは無いのですが良い点も特に。生ハムとカマンベールがサンドされていますが、私のようにリベイク時間を怠らずにしっかりやればチーズがトロンとなってより美味しくなるかもしれません。
小麦の香りがもっと欲しかったのと、生地自体の塩分をもう少しあげた方がバランスが良くなりそうです。
