The organization I belong to held a training session at a nearby public facility. The lecturer was very popular and the venue was full, and the lecture was so passionate that it exceeded the time limit for the venue. [b:The lecturer would be thirsty, so we had to have a party to celebrate the event.] There were six participants, but some of them were late because they had to clean up, so I ordered more and more first. [b:Please bring two servings of dried tofu, bang bang chicken, Century egg tofu, pickled mustard greens, and shredded potato.] We toasted with [b:Barley and Hops in a Barrel]. However, the official name was hard for the older sister to understand, so we ended up saying "raw" and "beer". I soon regretted getting carried away and ordering cold dishes. Everything was brought out one after another in large servings on large plates. Dried tofu seemed to be a rare treat for everyone, and they were pleased, saying "It's delicious, it's delicious." Some of the members were Korean, and some of their families were Korean, so it was a very international table, and we talked about how there is a dish similar to the potato salad in Korea. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the pickled mustard greens salad. I thought I could eat it slowly until later because it was pickled vegetables, so I put it on the edge of the table, but the waitress must have interpreted that as the empty glass corner, and before I knew it, it had been removed along with the empty glass. Basically, if you don't frequently ask the waitress for a plate, the plate in your hand will quickly become covered in soup. It's no good to stay silent and expect her to understand here. Once your appetite is whetted, move on to the hot food. [b:I was surprised to see someone collecting and eating the red chili peppers that were scattered around the mapo vermicelli.] Stir-fried pea sprouts are crunchy and a good change of pace. At this point, I always ask [b:"Have you ever grown pea sprouts at home?"]. The sweet and sour pork was well-done, with a crispy batter. The fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce and Seafood mixed dish were delicious. The vegetable Gyoza / Dumpling were regular fried Gyoza / Dumpling, and they served six boiled Gyoza / Dumpling each, so we were able to share them smoothly. My senior ordered hot, while I ordered Shaoxing wine on the rocks. I was already full after the rare dish of stir-fried pork belly and green chili peppers, so I couldn't stop eating. We decided we needed something to finish off the meal, so we ordered gomoku Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) and tomato and egg soup, both of which were single portions. However, the soup was poured into a bowl with a strange shape. I couldn't get a good picture of it, but it looked like a bowl with a huge handle. Four of us ordered almond jelly, and I ordered Ice cream, but there was no ice cream. [b: Never mind. ] The almond jelly was square and looked hard, so I'm glad I didn't order it. If you go into the details, it's supposed to be 3,278 yen per person, but since collecting the money is a pain, we collected 3,300 yen from the members and the remainder was for the instructor, so the group paid for it. I felt bad paying that much for all the food and drink. What's more, the organizer even arranged for a 30-minute extension. Furthermore, there were so few customers in the restaurant that I was worried. [b:But wait, the delivery service guys with backpacks were lining up one after another!] I hope they will continue to work hard in the community with determination.
