I visited this place after drinking with a friend, thinking that the only thing I would have for the night would be the seasonal Tsukemen (Dipping Nudle). I had pretty much memorized the lineup of Nogaho sake, so I sat down and was torn between Hakkaisan and a highball, and asked the staff, "Can you make a highball without ice?" They said yes, so I ordered a highball and Tsukemen (Dipping Nudle). I took a breath and looked at the other menu items, and there was wine by the glass! I hurriedly raised my hand and called the staff to change my highball to wine. I'm grateful to the staff for their flexible response. As expected, Tsukemen (Dipping Nudle) was based on the main menu's Moto (Hajime), and was delicious, of course. And then the soup was diluted. I was on the verge of going crazy when I saw the thick boiled broth peeking out of the tokkuri-like container that was served, but then my feelings returned, and I thought, "This is it! This is what I wanted!" I added it to the dipping broth, drank it all, and enjoyed the boiled broth that I had intentionally left over. It was the best way to end the night! I enjoyed a wonderful night at Nogaho and returned home safely.
