LambCHAN is a restaurant specializing in mutton Meat Dishes located on Meguro Ginza 5th Avenue, between Nakameguro and Yutenji. This restaurant has a reputation for being able to enjoy fresh rum and natural wine at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a mountain hut style interior, with counter seats facing the kitchen and table seats in the back. It's a really casual restaurant, and there are often scenes where it goes too far and doesn't meet my sense of hygiene. Watching the cooking process can be quite nerve-wracking, so if you're a nervous and germ-obsessed person like me, it's better for your mental health to reserve a seat at a table in the back. Alcohol is cheap, beer is less than 1,000 yen, and a glass of wine is only 1,000 yen or so. Most of the dishes are priced around 1,000 yen, which is very reasonable for a restaurant that specializes in lamb meat. The green salad isn't bad, but it's a little lacking. The cheese had the characteristic fat and saltiness of sheep's milk, giving me a sense of their pride as a restaurant specializing in sheep dishes. The appetizer platter includes lamb jerky, potato salad, and cake salad. All of the dishes are related to sheep and are delicious, but I think 1,380 yen is a bit high. The cake sale was so delicious that it might have been better to order it separately. Grilled lamb yukhoe. The punchy taste of lamb is layered with spices, and the egg yolk brings it all together. When it comes to yukhoe, Japan is all about beef, but it's no surprise that yukhoe is made with meat that has a strong flavor. Assorted lamb skewers and vegetables. The sheep skewers are made with lamb, mutton, meatballs, heart, and tripe, all of which have a more powerful flavor than yakitori or yakiton. The meatballs were extremely delicious, so next time I'll order the ``100% mutton Hamburg''. Mapo eggplant made with mutton. The meat part of the so-called mapo eggplant is replaced with mutton, and it has a sexy aroma. It's moderately spicy, so it might be better suited for beer than wine. Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) to finish. It's good that it has plenty of vegetables and mutton, but the noodles aren't very moist. For the same 1,000 yen, I thought it would be better to eat at a specialty restaurant like Mikasa. Two people shared the above, had a light drink, and the bill was about 5,000 yen per person. Although it has an unusual concept of specializing in sheep dishes, the pricing is reasonable. Everyone has different feelings about hygiene, so if you don't care about the details, go for it. ■Click here for blog with photos → [a:https://www.takemachelin.com/2023/10/lambchan.html]
