It's been a long time since I've had lunch in Nakameguro, so I'm really excited to find a restaurant. Nakameguro has so many restaurants that I get excited just walking around the city. It's a feast for the eyes. This time, I visited Yakiniku Ushicoco, which opened 10 times ago. I arrived a few minutes early, but there were 4 groups waiting. I took the elevator to the 4th floor and it was like a kitchen with only counter seats. Even one person could comfortably go in. I ordered Ushikoko's signature lunch menu, the Kuroge Wagyu Beef Yukhoe Set (double). There is usually a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) menu, but this time I only had yukhoe.The egg on the yukhoe is already orange and it's definitely delicious.You can eat it on top of rice as a bowl, or you can eat it separately. It was delicious. I felt like I had a luxurious weekday lunch.
