あまり意識してはいないのだけれど最近自由が丘のレストランに行くことが多い。個人的にごみごみとした街の雑多な雰囲気が苦手であるものの(好きな人ごめんなさい)、そこかしこにある飲食店はどれもこじゃれていて魅力的に映る。
さてさて当店は、今をときめく西麻布のイタリアン『メラキ』のシェフが腕をふるっていた店と聞いて訪れた。店内の雰囲気というか、店の造りは表参道の『ドンチッチョ』に近い。同じ建築家が作成したのではないかと思うほどだ。いずれにせよ、カジュアルなビストロ的な空気があって席が客で埋まるとテーブルの会話がBGMのように流れ心地よい騒がしさとなる。
注文したもの
○とうもろこしのジェラート
とうもろこしの甘味がたっぷりとアイスに溶け込んでいて旨い。
○セルフィーユの根 アンチョビバターのソース
ねっとりとした口あたりに独特の甘味がとても癖になる。
○手打ちタリアテッレフレッシュポルチーニ茸
香り豊かなポルチーニとタリアテッレはよくあう。
○釜揚げしらすのトマトソース
しらすとさっぱりした風味と塩の効いたトマトソースがいい。
○北海道蝦夷鹿ロース
率直にいって脂はいらなかった。牛肉とは違いしつこさはないが赤身をひきだすほどでもない。値段はわからないがそこそこするはずなので頼んだことを後悔した。

バランスの取れた料理で人気なのがよくわかる。コース料理もあるようだが、アラカルトの方が面白いように思う。ただ値段を考えるとお気に入りの似たような店を持っている人には物足りないかもしれない。まあつまりはそういう感じだ。近くで新規開拓を試みたい人にとってはお勧めである。また時間をあけて伺いたい。
