夏に二回、女子会をしました。豆のサラダのスパイスの絶妙なハーモニーと爽やかさに衝撃を受け、薄いパンみたいなのに包んで食べるペーストみたいなのもとても美味しかったです。エチオピア料理は初めてでしたが、スパイス使いにものすごく感動しました。ネルソン・マンデラ大統領の名前のカクテルも甘すぎないなかにちょっとビターだけど深みがあり、爽やかさと軽やかさもある絶妙な味わいで、それだけ飲みにでも行きたいくらいです。ワインもとてもコスパがよく、満足いくクオリティでした。
店主のヨナスさんの暖かい人柄で、お店もとても居心地がよく、穏やかに楽しくおしゃべりしながら食事ができ、みんな来た時以上に元気になって帰って行く、素晴らしいお店だと思います。食べ物を食べるだけでなく、それ以上の素敵な気持ちで満たされます。また、店内のインテリアやアフリカンアートの調度品がものすごく品が良くて美しいです。
ヨナスさんはサッカーの元エチオピア代表だったそうですが、お父様の仕事の関係で日本にいらっしゃったそうです。日本語も上手で、ネイティブの友達によると英語は完璧です。
お店は一人か二人で回しているので、混み具合によっては料理やカクテルは待ちます。でも楽しくおしゃべりしながらだと気にならないくらいです。メニューにはワニなどもありましたが、やめておきました。笑
