晴れた祝日の11:30に訪問。
7割ほど既に席が埋まっている。
昼は予約ができないが、開店直後にくれば入れる。
冷かけすだち蕎麦 1,600円
稚鮎の唐揚げ 1,700円
天ぷら付きのようなセットが4種類と、単品の季節もの料理がある。
セットは結構お得に食べられるが、落ち着いた空間で、稚鮎が食べたくなった。
冷かけすだち蕎麦
きれいに並べられたすだち。
さわやかな香りと出汁がよく合う。
蕎麦が極細で、感動するくらい。
出汁がよく絡んで美味しい。
すだちは極薄にスライスされているので、柔らかくてダイレクトに食べることができる。
稚鮎の唐揚げ
盛り付けが群れをなして泳いでいるかのよう。
ほのかな苦みとともに、夏を感じる一品。
すだち蕎麦は初だった。
ここを訪れる前から、すだちは食べるのか、それとも食べるべきではないのか、を考えていた。
店員の方から説明があった。
すだちは時間が経つと苦味が出てくるので、付随の小皿に取ってください、もちろん食べることもできますのでお好みで、と。
そっかー。食べても食べなくてもその人の好みなんだ。
半分食べ、半分小皿にとった。
酸味が強いわけではないし、皮が硬いわけでもなく、美味しく食べることができた。
味はもちろん美味しいし、雰囲気も良いお店。
ソファの席に通してくれて、ゆったりとした家のような空間も味わった。
