【2024年5月16日初訪問】
池尻大橋駅「南口」から「玉川通り」へと出て、三軒茶屋方面へ進んで行くと、通りから少し左へと入った場所でＶ字に分かれる道の間に挟まれた状態で現れるお店。
この日は午後から用事があって渋谷へ。予定通りに用事が夕方に完了すると、少しこちらへと寄り道をして晩御飯を済ませてから帰宅する事にしました。到着したのは夕方の６時を数分回った頃。平日とあって、店内に先客は５名しかおらず、すぐに入店をする事が出来ました。
先ずは食券の購入。気になっていたのは「釜玉油そば」なるメニュー。この食券を購入しました。あと無料食券で「本わさび」というのもあったので、これも！と…。
食券を店員さんに渡すと、「揚げニンニク」と「ガリマヨ」をどうするか⁈と。…で、食券を見直すと、有無に丸を付けて渡すのがルールだった様です。「本わさび」のサービスを受けつつも、共にお願いをする事に！すると８分程の待ち時間の後に到着しました。確かに釜玉です‼︎
見ただけで、麺線を綺麗に揃えた、モチッと感がハンパなさそうな麺の中央には、オレンジ掛かった濃厚色の卵黄が！底の方にあるカエシ強めのタレと共によく掻き混ぜての実食です！掻き混ぜている最中に湯気が出る温度感での仕上がりで！卵黄との併せ技が素晴らしい醤油ベースの濃い味タレ。これがしっかりと絡んで行くのが…加水高めな平打ちタイプの、ややピロピロしたモッチリ食感の麺！これは私の好みに沿っており、かなり美味しい！そのまま一気に半分程食べ進めてしまいましたが…せっかくサービスして貰った味変アイテムも使用してみる事に‼︎
先ずは「本わさび」から。店内にあった貼紙を見ると、どうやら本来はチャーシューの為に用意されているモノだったのかな…⁈しかし、麺にも合う！先述の様にタレが濃い味なので、どちらかが勝ってしまうという事もありませんでした。そして「揚げニンニク」。食感に違いはあるとしても、ナッツ的感覚か…⁈これを纏わせつつ「ガリマヨ」に付けて食べる！何度も挙げているタレの濃さもあって、一気にジャンク感が強くなる！…あっ、そうか！と。マイレビ様が書かれた「千里眼」さんのセカンドブラントであった事を思い出す…あんなにジャンクな冷やし中華を食べた事って、未だに他では無いんで…。
角状にカットされたチャーシューは、想像以上に柔らかであり、タレを纏わせつつメンマと食べるのも◎で！思った内容とは少し違ったも、満足度の高い一杯でした‼︎
