As I was walking around thinking about having a light dinner, I came across a Thai Cuisine restaurant. I thought it would be nice if they had khao man gai, so I entered the restaurant. If they didn't have it, I might settle for gapao rice or pad thai. When I climbed the stairs and entered the store, a Japanese man greeted me. Maybe it's the owner, but the only other employees are Thai women. When I was guided to a table, I ordered a Singha beer. And when I say Khao Man Gai, they say, "Yes, it's Khao Man Gai," and apparently there is one. As I poured myself a glass of refreshing Singha beer, an appetizer came out: curry-flavored chicken chicken dish on top of a mini salad. There doesn't seem to be any dressing on it, so when I bite chicken dish, but it looks like it's been boiled, and it's very soft, and the soft flesh just falls apart in your mouth. You can eat cleanly with just chopsticks without any difficulty. And the main dish, Khao Man Gai, probably has a bit more chicken in it, the rice is Thai rice with two slices of cucumber and coriander, and the sauce is a typical reddish-brown color and looks like a smooth ketchup. Scoop a little of the sauce with a spoon and pour it over the chicken. It has a very oriental taste. If you have ever traveled to Thailand, the moment you eat it, the aroma will remind you of the local scenery. A sauce with a strong sweetness and a punch of garlic and ginger. The rice may be cooked just fine if you use less water, but it's still quite dry. The chicken was steamed very well, the taste was soft and juicy, and the skin was jiggly.Personally, this skin part is important, and the jiggly texture is OK here. Cucumber is very good for refreshing the palate, but what about coriander? It reminds me of stink bugs, so it's not my favorite herb. I hear it's quite popular, but how do you all get over this stink bug smell? The sauce has a punch, so the rice goes quickly.Although the sweetness of the sauce is a little strong, it is a very well-made and delicious khao man gai. Gaiyang, stir-fried water spinach, and tom yum Ramen are my next options. Thank you for the meal.
