This is a restaurant that I used for dinner with my friends and wife, whom I always meet during our annual autumn tour. This restaurant was recommended by my friends and wife. The owner and chef runs the restaurant by himself, and it has a small feel with five seats at the counter and one table for two people, so you can enjoy it casually without feeling tense. Italy used to be a city-state, so each region has its own unique cuisine, but Tuscany is known as the region in central Italy where Florence is located. Tuscan cuisine also seems to have a lot of Meat Dishes. On this day, we had the restaurant exclusively for four people. We were able to talk loudly and freely while enjoying the food and wine. There were various meat and game dishes on the menu. For now, we asked for less meat and selection the rest to the chef. First, we toasted with Italian spumante! The antipasto we were served was "marinated persimmon with burrata cheese and Prosciutto". I think this is the first time I've eaten persimmon, a taste of autumn, at an Italian restaurant? This is "Italian vegetable precoce and anchovy salad". Italian vegetable Precoce is officially called Radicchio Rosso di Treviso Precoce, and is a vegetable similar to chicory. And a warm dish of fried squid. The outside of the focaccia was crispy. There were two primo piatto pasta dishes. The first was "Tagliatelle with fresh Italian porcini mushrooms". They used large raw porcini mushrooms, which are in season now and imported directly from Italy. They have a nice, trendy aroma. Next was "Cacio e Pepe with Hokkaido Hidari Shirako". The cheese and butter mixed well with the milt, giving it a rich flavor. And the black pepper added a nice accent. By the way, Cacio e Pepe is the name of a pasta dish in the Rome region. The pasta at these restaurants is made after receiving an order, and is boiled immediately after it is made. It has a chewy texture and goes well with the sauce, making it delicious. The main dishes written on the blackboard were all meat dishes, but they said they had amberjack, so we grilled it. The fruit tomatoes were very sweet. For dessert, my wife ordered an orange-flavored pudding. Now, about the wine we enjoyed with the food. We ordered a bottle of the aforementioned spumante, and then two bottles of white wine, which we drank all of. All of the above came to just under 12,000 yen per person.
