I heard that lunch was a good deal. It opens at 11:30, so we arrived around 11:45. First come first served. early! Barley tea was served immediately after being shown to a seat. And a beer mug lol This kind of service is good. ● Lunch beer 300 yen It was super dry. Same mug as barley tea lol If this costs 300 yen, you can drink a lot of super dry. (I drank 2 cups) ● Today's limited lunch Kuroge Wagyu beef koneyaki lunch (double the meat) 1280 yen Comes with rice, soup, raw egg or green onion. Should you use raw eggs for Yakiniku (Grilled meat)? That's what I thought, but apparently it's recommended to eat it with it. Meat costs 780 yen for 100g, and 1280 yen for double (200g). Of course I'll ask for double that. Before that, what is Koune? It seems to be a specialty of Hiroshima. I looked it up and it seems like it's shoulder belly meat. I thought it was the name of a brand of beef (^_^;) The lean part of the beef is tough, so it's generally eaten by slicing it thinly along with the fat on the outside. It's true that each piece had a firm shape, but the whole piece had a nice marbling and sweetness to it, and when grilled, it became soft and easy to eat. 200g is a blink of an eye. I should have ordered a small portion of rice, but it came in a regular portion (or rather, a heaped portion), but I still eat the rice with the sauce. The soup is seaweed soup. Does it have black pepper? It's quite spicy. When I looked back at the photos to write a review, I realized I hadn't taken any photos of the grilled meat! Apparently the price has gone up recently, but it's still a good deal, so I'll have to go back to take pictures (°▽°)
