[Wine connoisseurs love it] An extraordinary experience in a high-quality space. 200 types of wine and food pairings. Also on the anniversary
We have welcomed a new chef from January 2023. My specialty is Sicilian cuisine. We have over 200 types of wine only from Italy. Carefully selected by a sommelier who travels to Italy every year to ex |
``dalBarone'' is located a few minutes walk from the shopping street in front of the station after getting off at Okusawa Station. The restaurant was opened in 2019 by a man who loves Italy and used to work at a major apparel company, and the restaurant is very enthusiastic, with evening drinking hours starting from 3pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Inside the restaurant, there are 6 counter seats facing the kitchen and several tables. Although it is classified as Wine Bar, it has a pretty solid lineup of dishes, and you can also order in courses. Chef Noriyoshi Kobayashi honed his skills at his family's Italian restaurant before moving to Italy. A man who loves Sicily and has breathed in plenty of Sicilian air. There are many wines by the glass, mainly Italian wines, and a wide variety of bottles. After enjoying a bottle of bubbles, we had a nice glass of wine as our main dish, and at a little over 1,000 yen per glass, we felt it was a very reasonable price. The amuse is panelle. A Sicilian street food made with chickpea flour and fried. The aroma of beans is light but has a strong aroma. Perfect for sparkling wine. The salad uses stray skipjack bonito, and it looks and tastes just like Salad Niçoise, which is interesting. However, if you classify it as Mediterranean cuisine, it is a neighborhood, and in other words, a delicious salad is justice. Whitebait fritelle. It's a so-called Italian-style kakiage, and the salty and bitter taste of whitebait is a taste for adults. It has a moderately sporty taste, and you'll want to eat it forever with a heaping amount of beer. Chestnut risotto. Although it looks simple, it has an indescribably deep flavor, and with its chewy texture, you can enjoy the taste of autumn. Pasta is tagliatelle. Made with beef tail and black cabbage, the handmade surface captures the rich flavor. Oh, the noodles are delicious. I am a slave to carbohydrates. The main dish is boar. Although the size is small, the flavor is concentrated and the texture is tough and satisfying. It's perfect for a strong red wine. Dessert is of course cannoli. A traditional sweet that Sicily is proud of, it is made from flour-based dough that is deep-fried in the shape of a cylinder and filled with cream, mainly ricotta cheese. Different toppings (?) are added on both ends for a meaningful ending. Finish with chamomile tea. Thank you for the meal. The above dishes cost just under 10,000 yen, and with a fair amount of wine, the bill was 15,000 yen per person. Considering that a meal of the same quality in Nishiazabu would cost around 20,000 to 30,000 yen, you will be filled with an indescribable sense of satisfaction. Actually, this dish is probably a little too high-quality for Wine Bar. I'm envious of the people who live in the neighborhood because it's OK to just have a drink. Next time, I would like to visit you at the after-party after eating at Jiyugaoka. ■Click here for blog with photos → [a:https://www.takemachelin.com/2023/11/barone.html]
