Surprising and impressive cuisine in a hideaway After leaving Midorigaoka Station on the Oimachi Line and walking along the Midorigaoka green road for a while, you will find a restaurant with a simple and bright exterior, with lemon-colored walls and wide glass openings. It's a spacious space with tables and counters, and it's hard to believe that there are days when it's open for one operation. The owner and chef met while temporarily helping out at a former colleague's restaurant before opening this restaurant. First visit I had high expectations as former colleagues of the chef had raved about the food in their stories, but it exceeded my expectations even more. They seemed to remember that I like counters, so I took a seat at the counter. I was shown to a special seat in front of the kitchen. I'm glad to see such thoughtfulness. The bread and butter served as an appetizer is so delicious that you could drink two glasses of wine just by itself. Following the chef's recommendation, we made marlin carpaccio. Lightly grilled marlin with two types of sauces made with fruit. I'm looking forward to eating it, but it's been about 10 years since I was impressed with fish carpaccio. The burrata cheese and kumquat compote shone like a jewel. This year's kumquats are sweet and delicious. I knew that, but it was taken to a higher level, and the pairing with the recommended white wine was excellent.I was also surprised that my favorite ingredient, conger eel, was wrapped and fried with bacon, which was my first time. As for the way it was eaten, it was also delicious. For the main course, instead of the chef's recommended beef stew, I wanted to see how it differed from the restaurants of my former colleagues, so I ordered the Ichibo. It was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was well-done. It was as expected, but the combination with the flavored vegetables (I think I was told that it looks similar to green onions before the garlic grows, but I forget the name) that took the dish to another level. Midorigaoka may be unfamiliar or inconvenient to many people, but it's worth the effort to visit. 3.0 Average ★★★...I might come back if I'm nearby. 3.5 Good ★★★ ★……I want to come again 4.0 Excellent ★★★★★…I want to come regularly
