旗の台にある「百百亭」で、にしん蕎麦950円を食べた。中原街道から昭和大学病院と反対側の路地に入ったところにある蕎麦屋。
身欠鰊を使った甘露煮が乗る信州そばの新そばを、定番の温かいもので食べる。そば汁は意外と薄味で、甘露煮からの滲み出た味が広がる。キノコ類も沢山入り、舞茸としめじは鮮度が良くしみったれていない。
肝心の蕎麦は細く、300円増しで太麺にも出来たが、店の流儀に従い、コシではなく甘露煮との組み合わせを優先した。
蕎麦ができるまでの箸休め、先付けとして蕎麦の揚げ煎餅が出され、これをポリポリ食べながら時間を潰した。
