この店は、旗の台駅から少し離れたところにある蕎麦屋で、日本三大そぼの一つである信州戸隠そばを提供している。
ランチの定食が安価で充実しているようだったので気になっていたが、この日のランチに利用してみた。
平日の12時前に行くと、店内には先客が一人のみ。
ただし、それなりに人気があるようで、この後からポツポツと客が入ってきた。
分厚いメニューとランチのみのメニューを渡された。
分厚いメニューはごちゃごちゃと書いてあって分かりにくいが、店員さんはそれには構わずにランチメニューの日替わり定食だけ早口で説明してくれたので、定食を注文するのが吉なのだろう。
ということで、昼そば日替り定食(880円)を注文した。
定食の内容は、戸隠手打ちそば(ざる又はかけ)、そば五目ご飯、香物、日替り料理一品で、日替り料理は野菜コロッケとクリームコロッケと千切りキャベツ。
そばはざるを注文した。
そば自体は、新蕎麦だけあって結構美味しかった。
しかしながら、そばつゆは甘味が感じられず、全くピンと来なかった。
戸隠そばのそばつゆはこういうものかもしれないが、もう少し甘味があった方が好き。
五目ご飯はごく普通のものだけど、個人的には五目ご飯というだけでポイントがググっと上がる。
コロッケもごくごく普通のものだけど、1000円未満の定食についてくるものならこれで十分だろう。
定食に関しては、前評判通りに値段の割には内容（質より量）が充実していると言えるだろう。
ただし、そばつゆが好みでなかったので、折角の新蕎麦もあまり楽しめなかった。
惜しいなぁ、そばつゆが好みの味だったらたまに利用してもよかったのに。
