荏原中延にあるカレーショップ『26号くるりんカレー』へ。
なんだか変身でもしそうな名前ですが、屋号は目の前の道路の補助26号線に由来するようです。仕掛け人は電広堂という広告制作会社さんだそうで、おそらく自社開発のシュールなキャラクターが看板に描かれております。笑 チェーンのカレー店並みに魅力的なトッピングメニューが並びますが、ミトミえもんが選んだのは、、、
B級しょうが焼きカレーに、サメフライをトッピング。
カレー自体は、どこか懐かしさを感じる日式カレー。よく煮詰めた濃厚なもので、フルーツや野菜のような風味がしっかり溶け込んでおります。特に玉ねぎの存在が目立ちます。その中からはスパイスのエッセンスが広がっていくが、なんでも約20種類ものスパイスを配合しているそうだ。
トッピングの１つ目である、B級しょうが焼き。B級の名前に恥じぬ、超絶濃いめの生姜焼き。これだけでもご飯が何杯もいけそうです。なんともユニークなサメのフライは、いわゆる白身魚で軽い食感になっております。
