東急大井町線の下神明駅から５分程です。品川区第３庁舎の向かい側、区役所通りに面しています。大井町からも歩ける距離です。
朝９時からモーニング営業を行っておりタイのカスタードトースト？なる物が頂ける様です。私は今回、ティータイムに伺いました。
店内はコンパクトです。入口直ぐにカウンターで先に注文と会計を行います。
左手窓際に小さなカウンター席があり、その奥にソファのテーブル席？３卓あります。
こちらはタイのスイーツやお料理が頂けるカフェで伺った日は女性のスタッフさんの２オペレーションでした。
お二人共、タイのご出身の用でタイ語でお話をされていました。日本語もお上手です。
タイの伝統ある昔のお菓子「カノムルームグルン」を頂きたいと思いお願い致しました所、ランチと一緒に注文した場合は２個デザートとして付ける事が出来るが単品注文の場合は６個セット650円になるとの事でした。
「カノムルームグルン」は一口サイズのゼリー状の直径２cmに満たない小さなお菓子なので６個でも大した量にはなりませんが流石に店内で一人で６個は完食出来ない為、持ち帰る事にし今回は飲物だけ店内で頂く事にしました。
タイのミルクティーがお勧めとの事でHotでお願いするとIceがお勧めだそうで…きっとアイスの方が美味しいのだと思いますが冷たい物を控えているので已む無くHotのカフェラテを頂く事にしました。タイのコーヒー豆を使用されているそうです。
カフェラテ440円、カノムルームグルン650円 をお願い致しました。
「カノムルームグルン」は緑豆粉を主原料にしたお菓子だそうです。上部の花を模した白い部分はココナッツミルクでその上に胡麻が掛かっていました。甘さ控えめの優しいお味で食感は程よい弾力があります。良い香りがして美味しいです。とても小さいので軽く一人で２，３個は食べられます。
スタッフさんはお二人共、明るく丁寧に日本的に対応して下さいました。
