国道1号線 池上警察署前交差点東の住宅地内
土曜12時半ころの訪問で先客が一組。入口で声を掛け指先消毒のあと、適当であろう一番奥の4人掛けのテーブル席に着き、出前兼用と思しき文字のみで構成されるメニュー表より たぬき550円に決め、若大将であろう兄さんへ そば普通盛りオーダー。
昭和時代に造られたであろう、パネルに錆が付いた中の見えない大型冷蔵庫の中身を邪推したり、雑多な店内は演出によるものではないかと想像したりすること、およそ5分で配膳されました。
・たぬきそば
質素ではあるけれど、丁寧で美しい盛付けにほくそ笑む。
七味をぶっ掛けたあと、袋から出した箸を割り、丼の隅から一口分のそばを手繰り、フーフーと息を吹きかけて豪快に音をたてて啜れば訪れる至福のとき。
一定の時間放置されたであろう揚げ玉から放たれる香りと、ややくたびれたワカメの香りとが融合が見事なのと、グッとくるつゆのベストマッチ。熱く濃く滋味深い。
彩りを整えるナルトが2枚使われている点に感激を覚えるのはナオジだけであろうか。
そばの方は至って普通で何の変哲もないけれど、こういうのがいい。
この内容で驚愕の550円。ノスタルジックな気分になれるうえに、上げ膳据え膳してくれてしかも座って食べられる。
感謝に値します。
