蓮沼にある「たまや」で、豚バラとろきゅううどん750円を食べた。東急の駅から多摩堤通りを蒲田方向に少し進み、左折したところにある讃岐うどんの新店。
注文したうどんは、豚バラの甘く醤油で煮たものと、とろろ、きゅうり、ネギが入っている。これらを太くコシのあるうどんと混ぜて食べると、多摩サイで酷暑の中を羽村堰からポタリングしてきた後だったので、胃に冷たい塊が溜まり内部からクールダウンしてくれる。いかにもスタミナが付きそうなメニューで、うどんも美味しいものだった。
