等々力に用事があり、ランチでこちらに伺いました。
昼は早めの11時からやっている意欲的なお店ですが、1924年創業ということでもうすぐ100年の老舗でもあります。
お店に入ると思ったよりも広く、奥までテーブルがありました。
優しい声に促されて、私はテーブルの一角に居を得ました。
メニューを見て、冷たいのも温かいのも拝見して、
・天ぷらそば 1200円
をお願いしました。
水を飲みながら待つことしばし、それほどは待たずにそばが登場です。
お膳には蕎麦と別添えの天ぷらがあり、天ぷらは海老、茄子、シシトウの3種類でした。
シンプルです。
まずは蕎麦から。
一口飲むと甘めの出汁。
また、蕎麦自体は柔らかめの蕎麦でした。
天ぷらは蕎麦にのせて頂きます。
サクサク感は和らぐのですが、出汁が染みた衣と蕎麦とを食べ進めます。
天ぷらも蕎麦も安心の味わい。
安心して食べられる町蕎麦でした。
お店を出る頃には平日にも関わらず広い店内にそれなりに埋まってきていました。
安心の味わいと心地よいサービスがお客さんを呼ぶのでしょう。
