普段から自由が丘やその界隈で食事をすることが多い私にとって、この10年近く通っているお鮨屋さんが自由が丘の羽生さんと、ここ尾山台の徳助さんです。
その味をじっくり味わってみれば、特に地元を中心とした上品なお客さんたちを満足させてきたことが納得できます。
エビス瓶ビールで喉を潤した後、何種類かお任せで切ってもらってつまみながら日本酒へ。
徳助さんでの飲み物は瓶ビールと日本酒のみ。日本酒は複数銘柄を常備していますが、私のお気に入りである田舎の地酒「鷹勇」をちょくちょく仕入れてくれるので嬉しい限り。
日本酒をいただいていると、頃合いを見計らって季節野菜などを使った煮物や焼物などのつまみが供されます。
お腹の準備が出来たところで握りへ。始まりは小肌から。どれも素晴らしい仕事が施されたネタが続き、穴子、雲丹、巻物へと続く甘美な世界。
お腹いっぱいになり、支払を済ませてお店を出る時には、いつも「こちらこそ、またよろしくお願いします」という気持ちにさせてくれます。
地元に「徳助」がある尾山台界隈の人たちって、、、ホント幸せだと思います。
