尾山台は自由が丘にも近く、ケーキの激戦地ですが、こちらクレヨンは中でもコスパの良い店として頑張っていると思います。一つ400円前後です。お店のオススメの米粉を使ったふわふわの尾山台ロールは、なんと315円！です。こちらは世田谷区指定「世田谷みやげ」にも選ばれています。
同じ商店街内の某有名店はおいしいですが、子供むけの味ではないので、住みわけ？が出来ているようです。子供のバースデーケーキには、こちらクレヨンのショートケーキがぴったり。お願いすれば、アレルギーのある子供に対応したケーキを作っていただけるそうです。
素材の味がしっかりする、しつこくなくあっさりめで、ちょうど良い感じに優しい甘さのお菓子がならびます。特にシュークリームやプリンなどのタマゴ味がする物は昔ながらの味を洗練させた感じで、おいしいです。プリンはとろけるタイプではなく昔ながらの固めタイプです。
マドレーヌ等の焼き菓子も素材の味がちゃんとしておいしいです。一つ百円前後なので気軽なお土産に使っています。
ただ、定番系はどれもオススメなのですが、たまに出るオリジナルケーキは味の組み合わせが微妙な事があります。残念！
