台風襲来前、暑さが和らいだ日に、等々力渓谷を散策しに訪れました。
散策路は割と整備されていて普段着でも入れる場所。渓谷入口から遠過ぎず、丁度良い場所にあります。お不動様のお膝元、長い階段の手前に位置する為、お参り前でも、お参り後にぐるりと廻って来てもどちらでもとにかく便利な茶屋です。
一般的な茶屋や甘味処の品揃えに、夏はかき氷、冬はお汁粉など季節のメニューが加わります。
暑さが和らいだ日とは言え真夏の散策の為、私は氷一択、黒蜜きなこのかき氷をいただきました。黒蜜たっぷりで甘い氷です。
外観は素敵な古民家で、季節が良ければ、池の鯉を見ながら軒先で頂くのがお勧めです。今回どうしても空調の効いた店内で頂きたかったので中にお邪魔しましたが、店内は公民館的な普通さ。店内窓から外の景色も、川のせせらぎは見えますが、舗装された道やフェンスも目に入り、意外と普通。とは言え履物を脱いで上がる店内は有り難く、桜や紅葉の季節の週末は混み合うでしょう。
都会のオアシスの中のオアシスと言えるでしょう。
