尾山台駅から歩いて5分くらいの場所にあるインド料理店です。
メニューを見ると色々と面白いものがちらほらありました。
特に目をひいたのは豆腐チキン。
豆腐を使ったカレーはネパール料理のお店等で食べた事がありますが、これだけ毎日カレー食べている僕でもそう何件も思い出せないので珍しいですね。
せっかくなのでそれを注文しました。辛さは辛口で。
主食はロティで。
出てきた豆腐カレー、豆腐の原型はとどまっていないくらいにしっかり混ぜられていたのですが、逆にそれが良いです。
豆腐の淡白な味が濃厚なカレーをさっぱりさせ、栄養価的にもヘルシーにしていると思います。
辛さは辛口でもそれほどではなかったのですが、一緒に出てきた小瓶のアチャールで調整できます。
そのアチャールが実に美味しい！ 辛さと酸っぱさのバランスが絶妙で、濃厚なタイプのアチャールなんです。
これを豆腐チキンに入れてみたら、何と相性の良い事か！
かなり好みの味に変身しました。
ひょっとするとこちら、隠れた名店かもしれません。
たまたま豆腐チキンとアチャールとロティの相性が良かっただけなのかもしれませんが、アチャール無かったとしても豆腐チキンもロティもなかなかでしたし、店内も清潔感があり、何かと実にちゃんとしていました。
