以前、御徒町の店を利用したことがある。雰囲気だとか、酒がうまいとか、肴が良いとか、そういったものさしではない。とにかく安い、24時間やっている、そこが価値の店だ。下北沢にあったのは知らなかった。あまりに暑く、涼を取りながら喉を潤したい。そんな考えで飛び込んだ。御徒町は２階だったが、ここは地下。それで店内は新宿二丁目のどん底を思わせるような暗さ。やや気分が落ち込む。こんなに雰囲気を作らなくても良いのに。
席について生ビール。枝豆のお通し。この店は酒はほとんど300円。食物、といっても中華系なのだが、そのほとんどが300円。メニューのバリエーションは中華のほとんどを網羅していると言っても良い。但し味は価格並み。厨房とフロア接客はチャイニーズ。オーダーテイクを含めた接客は大味で、オーダー間違いが多かったり、提供に時間がかかったりしている。数回利用したが、サービスの面で残念な気持ちで店を後にすることがあり、再訪は避けたい。
