ネパールの伝統家庭料理のお店。
場所は井の頭通り沿いで、京王井の頭線「西永福駅」と「永福町駅」の中間地点。
双方の駅から徒歩7分位で着きます。
最初に訪問した時は2014年6月のランチ。
グリーンカレーとほうれん草カレー(どちらもナン)を注文。
写真でも少し分って頂けると思いますが、ナンが滅茶苦茶デカい！
焼き立てで、一口食べてみて甘みがあって美味しい！
グリーンカレーは少し辛めでナンとの相性がばっちり。
付け合せや先付的なものも料金内で提供され、かなりお腹一杯になります。
ドリンクやデザートで〆て、味は最高なのに安い！
都内でアリエナーイ！(笑)
夜は take out のみの利用でしたが、毎回\500で抑えられます。
店頭にクーポン券も設置されてあったので、利用価値はありますね。
たまにスタッフのネパール人同士が何語かわからない言葉で話していますが、
日本語も片言で話せます(少し聞き取りづらいですが問題なし)。
料理や具材でわからないことを聞けば、丁寧に答えてくれます。
とてもまじめです。たまに見せる笑顔がチャーミングでもあります。
水もこまめに継ぎ足してくれます。永福町大勝軒も同じくこまめに水を足してくれますよね。
「永福町」という福がある地名も素晴らしいですが、ここのお店も素晴らしいです(笑)。
夜、通りの前を通るとお客さんが入っているかどうかたまに心配になることがありますが、
ランチ時間はマダァームや子連れの奥様方、学生も来店してます。
調布市つつじが丘にも姉妹店があるみたいですね。
東南アジアの屋台を思わせる妙な味わい深い感じがあり、
30代後半おっさんが言う言葉ではありませんが「マジでうまいカレーです。」
コスパ抜群ですし、もっと評価が高くてもいい気がします(3.7でも問題ない)。
永福へ行く機会があれば、ぜひご賞味下さい。
