Remarks |
Because it's far from the station, it's always quiet and calm. There's a wide selection of sake. Many unpasteurized and unfiltered sakes available. Flexible banquet facilities available. |

[A must-see for sake lovers] Enjoy a wide variety of local sake with sea bream rice and specially selected snacks. No appetizer fee!
Located about a 5-minute walk from the station, the restaurant offers a wide range of dishes from standard to special, carefully selected dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. It's so cozy, it's like stayin |
I thought I had explored the area around Kyodo Station quite a bit, but there was still a restaurant I hadn't explored. There were no reviews on Tabelog. That's because it was a restaurant located in a residential area a little away from the station, a five-minute walk away. It is a small restaurant with only table seats and can seat about 20 people. There were four groups of customers ahead of us, who were regulars, and about 80% of the seats were filled. It seems to be a hidden popular restaurant. Now, let's take a look at the menu. The selection of sake is also decent. Dassai, Ishizuchi, Kanae, Tedorigawa, Kikusui, etc. I had Akita's Kariho Yamahai Junmai Nama Genshu. It said it was available by the glass (150ml, 500 yen), but I came with a small glass with a small glass. It was very dry with a sake meter value of 21. For snacks, I had the most popular pork belly (650 yen) and tuna sashimi (450 yen). The sashimi was about what you'd expect. It was the same quality as what you'd find in a supermarket. Well, the price is what it is. The braised pork is delicious as it is popular. The rice dish for the final course. The sea bream rice looks delicious, but it is a bit too much for one person, so I gave up. I tried their signature dish, the fried udon (650 yen). The bonito flakes danced on the hot udon. Even at night, set meals are around 800 yen, and they have ginger stir-fry and fried chicken set meals, so you can use it for everyday use without alcohol. The restaurant seems to be run by two people, so if there are a lot of customers, you may have to wait a little for the food to be served, but the bill was just over 2,000 yen per person for local sake and three dishes. I think it was good value for money. It's a bit far from the station, but it's not bad. I think I'll visit again.
