豪徳寺商店街のなかなか入りにくい場所にあるお店。
普段は夕方電気屋さんの店先でテイクアウトのタンドリーチキンを売っているのですがこれがお安いにもかかわらずなかなかおいしいので気になっていたのです。
狭い店かと思いきや、中は広く天井も高くインドカレー屋独特の過剰な装飾もなく、小綺麗な定食屋さんのようなたたずまい。
メニューにはモモなどがあるのでどうやらネパール系のお店らしいです。コックさんがネパール帽子をかぶっていました。エベレストのポスターも貼ってありますし。
ランチタイムのマトンカレーセットを注文。サラダとドリンクが付いて７００円です。セットと一緒に頼むと１２０円のシシカバブも一緒に。これはお安い！
主食はナンを頼みました。おかわり自由らしいです。
最初にで出てきたサラダはなかなかのボリューム。ドレッシングがごま油なのが珍しいですね。
シシカバブもスパイシーでおいしい。これにもサラダがついてりるので野菜食べまくりです。結構いい肉で噛みしめるといい味が出てきます。
そしてカレーにびっくり。ランチタイムによくある手のひらサイズの器ではなく２０センチぐらいの器のたっぷりカレーです。味付けも具もバッチリ。これナン一枚じゃ食いきれません。
ナンを食べきり、おかわりに今度はライスを頼みました。出てきたライスはサフランライスではなく普通のジャポニカ白米でしたが逆に嬉しい。しかも量が２００ｇ以上はあるでしょうか、定食屋で言うライス大盛の量デブよ。
満腹になったところでドリンクをいただきお会計。これだけ満腹になって千円札でおつりがくる素晴らしいお店でした。
今度は夜にも行きたいところです。
