A short walk from Kitami Station on the Odakyu Line, this restaurant is located on the well-maintained Ichijo-dori street. The name "Harukaze" is perfect for this time of year. I went there at lunchtime. The lunch menu has one daily special and 12 standard set meals. There is a wide variety of options, including set meals, Fried food, and Seafood. This time I had the daily set meal "Black pork egg udon and small sardine rice (1,000 yen)". The udon noodles are well-seasoned with dashi. The soft noodles are delicious with the egg. The shiso leaves add a nice accent to the small sardine rice. The salad comes with delicious garnishes of bacon and okra, so it's great that it's only 1,000 yen. And then, coffee is served after the meal! It was a very satisfying lunch. I'm sure the other menu items are delicious too. I'll definitely be back, I'll go again.
