When I decided to have lunch in the Nakano area, I went to Hamaccho because it was recommended to me as being cheap and filling. It's a restaurant in the basement that looks like a bar serving lunch at night, so I don't think Mi is the kind of restaurant you would choose spontaneously... The exterior of the restaurant. From the outside, it's actually the entrance to the stairs going down to the basement. At first glance, it looks like a lot of things, but I appreciate that you can see the prices and photos of the food. Oh, actually, I failed to take a photo on my first visit, so I took this one later. The inside of the store. It's completely like that of a bar. I was a little disappointed in the photo as I was caught off guard even though it was a dark restaurant (^_^;) The lunch menu looks like this. Although the location is close to many bars and other restaurants, it still feels cheap at 650 yen for a lunch set meal. What I received was the tartare chicken set meal. The lowest price is 650 yen, which comes with miso soup, cold tofu, and fresh pickled vegetables. It has more volume than I expected. By the way, a large bowl of rice is free and the first refill is free. The first meal itself is quite large (^_^;) This is what it looks like when you close it up. I'm glad that there's a lot of chicken and plenty of tartar sauce. When I actually received it...honestly...for 650 yen, I was disappointed in the quantity and taste, in a good way. The chicken was juicy and chewy, and the tartar sauce was generous with its low acidity. Well, I think the tartar sauce is a cheap commercial product, but I was grateful because I didn't want to feel sad if I ran out of it in the middle of eating. In addition to bringing your own food in a pot, hot coffee was also provided, although there was only a teacup. Of course, the main business is a bar at night, so I think the ingredients and menu are the same, but considering the cost performance, it seemed like a pretty good deal. I would like to try other menu items too.
