中野五差路を越えた先の路地にある酒場…

博多で定番の“かわ焼き”が中野でも楽しめちゃう九州酒場。
コの字型カウンターの先にあるテーブル席に案内された。
飲み放題があるというので生ビール込みコース￥1280（1h）をオーダー。

それでは早速、名物のかわ焼きを頼んでみよう。
◆かわ焼き￥136
東京の焼き鳥屋で「とり皮」を頼むと、白く鳥肌が立った鶏皮を串に刺したヤツが提供されるけど…
博多発祥の「かわ焼き」は色も形も全然違うタイプ。
鶏の皮を串に巻きつけタレで焼いたもので、外はカリッとしていて中はモッチリ。
濃い目のタレが香ばしく焼かれていて、東京の「とり皮」よりも好きな味。
◆もやし炒め￥382
胡麻油の風味＆軽い塩味、モヤシのシャキシャキとした食感がいいね。
◆肉餃子￥409
パリッとした生地。
中の餡はたっぷり肉が詰まっていてすこぶるジューシー。
◆ももたたき￥573
ほんのりピンクのモモ。
ムッチリとした生肉の食感が楽しめる。
◆トマト巻き￥200
トマトの酸味と香ばしい豚バラ肉の素敵なハーモニー。
ほとばしるトマ汁が堪らねぇ♪
◆皿うどん（大）￥891
パリパリ細麺の上に程よく塩気を効かせた具沢山な中華あんかけが乗っている。
◆黒ちゃんぽん（小）￥755
マー油がかけられているので香ばしいニンニク風味。
ツルッとモチモチの太麺ものど越しが良く、豚骨スープがよく絡むね。
何で“まいける”なのか？
オーナーがマイケル・ジャクソンのファンなのか？
それとも漫画のホワッツ マイケルの愛読者なのか？（古っ！）
その答えは意外なところにあった！
メニューの表紙を見たら…
なんと！
「ま」と「い」の間に小さな「ぁ」が入っている（最初の写真参照）
（本当の店名は「まぁいける」かもしれない！）
と思いスタッフに聞いてみたら「そうなんですよ」と言っていた。
そういわれてみれば、全てが「まぁいける」といった感じの酒場だ。
