The second branch of the famous restaurant "New Koenji India" where you can enjoy authentic Indian Cuisine at reasonable prices has opened in Nakano! In addition to great lunchtime deals, we also welc |
I visited here on a Saturday lunchtime. I had been here before, when it was [a:13157387, image], but I wondered what the new restaurant was like. It was after 1pm, so the crowds had died down, and I was seated at a table for four. There are lunch sets A to C, and B and C have two types of curry and you can have refills of naan. Another feature is that you can also have refills of soft drinks such as coffee and oolong tea. If you wait a little longer, it's nice to have a refill of coffee after the meal. So I would have liked to have coffee for the B set, but I heard that you can also choose a glass of beer for an additional 250 yen, so of course I chose that (´∀`) I ordered dal and mutton curry. You can choose from four levels of spiciness. The salad that came out first was a very ordinary one with a commercially available sesame dressing. The two types of curry were fancy, but they came in quite small bowls. Both were oily and thick. The dal curry is quite unique, containing tomatoes as an accent in addition to the dal. The naan is also generously spread with butter and is quite hard and packed with ingredients. When you tear it apart, air bubbles fly everywhere, making a pretty mess on the table. The mini rice is served flat on a regular plate. This is regular Japanese rice. The female waitress came over to refill our water and was very attentive, which made a good impression. I'd definitely like to visit at dinner time next time. Thank you for the meal.
