新しく出来た焼き鳥屋さんなのだが、私の感覚だと少し割高に思えたのでスルーしていた。
しかし土日祝はランチもやっていて、ランチタイムは生ビールが250円と書いてあったので、
これは放っておけないと訪問した。
注文はもちろんタイムサービスの生ビール（250円＋税）。
それだけってわけにもいかないので唐揚げ定食（890円＋税）をご飯大盛り（無料）でお願いした。
スグに出てきた生ビールは小さなグラスに泡たっぷり。
250円なので文句はないが、別にありがたくもない感じだ。
唐揚げ定食の唐揚げは、白っぽい色合いでサクサクとした食感。
これは別に揚げ油の温度が低いせいではなく、片栗粉を使ってるせいだと思う。
鶏肉の下味は薄めで、ポン酢おろしかマヨネーズをつけて食べるスタイル。
このような場合、私はポン酢おろしを優先するのだが、
ポン酢が結構甘めだったこと。更にマヨネーズには辛子が添えられていて、からしマヨに出来た事。
これらのことより、今回はマヨネーズが合っていたのではと思った。
さて今回のように片栗粉を使って揚げたものは、私は唐揚げではなくて竜田揚げだと思う。
定義は定かではないが、衣に小麦粉もしくは小麦粉と片栗粉のブレンドを使ったら唐揚げ、
片栗粉だけの場合は竜田揚げと言うのが私の分類方法だ。
また、作ってくれた人が洋食のシェフとか食堂のおばちゃんなら唐揚げ。
ワイシャツにネクタイを締めで調理着を着た、和食の職人さんなら竜田揚げだ。
だって洋食で竜田揚げって言わないと思うし。
更に中身が鶏肉ではなくて、鯖だったら竜田揚げ。
鯖なら粉がなんであろうが竜田揚げ。
だって鯖の唐揚げより、鯖の竜田揚げって言った方が、なんか美味しそうな気がするから。
