先日、1人で軽く飲んで駅に向かってサンモールの中を歩いていると、ふと、脇道に目をやると23時過ぎなのに看板に明かりのともった店があるのを発見。
夜になると明かりに吸い寄せられる習性が酒飲みと昆虫にあるのだ。
心に留めておいて、早速次の日、ちょうどいいタイミングで飲みの誘いがあったのでこちらに入店。
２階にある、おでんと煮込みの店だから、「お煮かい」という店名らしく、覚えやすい。
入ってみると、所謂、ウナギの寝床的な細長い空間ながらも、カウンター、テーブル席ともにあって、十分な広さ。
おでんだけじゃなくて、創作料理がオンメニュー。本日のおすすめ的に手書きの黒板メニューがあるのは嬉しい。
まずは、ハイボールでシュワッとのどを潤し、以下のものを食べた。
お通し：お出し、アオサ入り餡のかかった卵焼き（既製品じゃないのが出るっていいよね）。
バイ貝の煮つけ：楊枝で身をちぎらせずに上手く殻から抜き取るエンターテインメント性のある食べ物。
広島名物ホルモン天：サクッと揚がったホルモンは噛めば噛むほど、甘い脂がじゅんじゅわ。
牛タンの出汁煮込み：牛タン、ほろほろ。柚子胡椒で優しい出汁風味の牛タンをピリッとさせる。
おでん各種：大根、牛筋、がんも、カマンベール。出汁は関西寄りかな。いわゆる、関東煮的な醬油黒い出汁ではなく、あっさり。
おでんの花形ともいえる、大根が美味しかった。よく味が染みていて、とろとろ。ちょっと、牛筋の味も吸って、リッチなテイスト。
変わり種のカマンベールは正直、おでんにする意味を見出せず。
ハイボールは早々に切り上げ、各種日本酒に。冷酒グラスに注ぎ、升にこぼすスタイル。並々注いでくれて、\520（くらい。失念）でお得。
自分の好きな新潟の「麒麟山」を置いているのもポイント高い（店長さんが新潟出身とのこと）。
この店を始める前は同じく中野にある、「いせじ」で長年働いていたということで、既にお客さんがある程度ついているようだ。
もうすっかり、秋めいてきたので気軽におでんと日本酒が楽しめるお店として重宝しそう。
