日曜ランチに訪問。場所は中野坂上駅直結でアクセス良好。11:30頃訪問で先客数名、後から複数組来店あり。初訪問だ。
ランチメニューはカレー１種のメニューが多いが、レディースセットなどカレー２種付くメニューもある。インドカレーと言えば、いつも２種にすることが多いので、このお店ではカレー１種にしてみることに。チキンカレー、マトンカレー、ミックス野菜カレー、シーフードカレーなどあるが、この日の日替わりカレー(チキンと豆のカレー 950円)を注文。辛さは甘口、普通、中辛、辛口と４種から選択可能だったが、中辛でお願いした。日替わりランチセットは、カレー２種の他、サラダ、ミニライス、ナン、タンドリーチキン、ソフトドリンクで構成される。ドリンクはアイスチャイをオーダー。
初めにソフトドリンクが運ばれてきた。次いで、間もなく他のアイテムがワンプレートで登場。サラダにかけられているドレッシングは手造りでいいね。豆とキチンを一緒に入れたカレーは初めてだったが、これはこれでありかなといった感じだ。辛さは辛くない。辛いのが好みの方は辛口にした方が良いと思う。ナンは大き過ぎず、ライスの量も少ないので、女性の方でも安心して頼めると思う。また、日替わりメニューにはタンドリーチキンが付くが、鶏もも肉を使っているようで、骨が付いていないので食べやすくて手が汚れず、グッド。ナンのお代わり無料なので１枚お願いした。
店内落ち着いた雰囲気で、普通に美味しいインドカレーを食べたいといったときに、期待を裏切られることはないと思う。次回は日替わり以外を試してみたい。
